Seat Allocation

All seats must be pre-booked and are sold on a first come first served basis. Seat numbers are allocated on all excursions but we reserve the right to make alterations should circumstances dictate. Special requests should be made at the time of booking.


A £50 per person deposit is required on holidays to secure a booking, or £25 for holidays costing less than £100. The balance is due 6 weeks before departure or at the time of booking if made less than 6 weeks prior to departure. Please ask us if you are interested in making stage payments.

Payment can be made by cash, cheque or credit card. Cheques payable to AC Williams Coaches.

Holiday Cancellation

All cancellations must be notified in writing or by email to Deposits are generally non refundable, however deposits on holidays may be refunded at our discretion if cancelled more than 42 days prior to departure and the seats can be resold. Within 42 days of departure, the deposit is non refundable and the following charges will apply depending on the number of days remaining prior to departure:

Cancellation within 15 – 42 days of departure: 70% of total cost Cancellation within 14 days of departure: 100% of total cost

Claims must be submitted to your insurance company if cancellation is due to an insurable reason.

Holiday Insurance

We recommend you have travel insurance in place. If you do not have travel insurance already and require cover we are happy to offer a policy specially for coach travellers through travel insurance specialists P J Hayman & Company Limited. Passports & Visas

Passports are essential for all excursions to EC countries and it is your responsibility to ensure that all travel documents are in order. For travel within continental Europe we recommend you carry the European Health Insurance Card which is available free from the NHS online.


We will make every effort to carry out the itinerary as advertised but reserve the right to alter routes, timings or stopping places without prior notice. The company will not be liable for loss or inconvenience caused by any delay.

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking, due to matters within our control, you will be offered a full refund.

If we have to cancel your booking due to matters beyond our control, such as force majeure – including war, civil strife and inclement weather – we will not be able to offer a refund.

The terms of your booking and any claim relating to it, the provision of services to you by A C Williams and/ or its staff and any other matter arising out of this contract or your holiday will be governed by English Law, and shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Any liability of A C Williams will be limited to the value of any payments already received by us from the claimant at the date of claim. Nothing in this agreement is intended to exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury arising from negligence or for loss arising from negligent misrepresentation or fraud.

General Information

It is a legal requirement for passengers to wear seat belts.

Smoking is not permitted on our coaches at any time.

No consumption of alcohol is allowed on board our coaches at any time.

No abusive behaviour will be tolerated towards our drivers or other passengers.

Fares shown do not include meals, entrance fees etc. unless otherwise stated.

Child fares, where applicable, refer to children aged 3 – 15 years inclusive, and evidence of age must be provided.

Luggage should be restricted to one medium sized case per person and one item of hand luggage. Hand luggage must be small enough to fit in the overhead racks.

Cars can be left at our Ancaster site in a secure compound during your holiday. However we accept no responsibility for theft or damage to vehicles or contents.

On day excursions we can take a maximum of four mobility scooters, and this must be requested at the time of booking. First come, first served. For holidays, we can carry a maximum of one mobility scooter. Again, this must be requested at time of booking, and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The company will not accept liability for any damage to, or loss of property left unattended in the coach. Lost property will be held in the office for 3 months.

We are unable to accept responsibility for passengers arriving late at departure points.

In consideration of other passengers, mobile phones should be limited to essential calls only.
